Dev Update #1
I finally decided to start using the itch.io and butler to upload builds for testing. I have too many problems with Dropbox links expiring and I can actually hook into my Discord's webhooks this way to notify the users there that a new build is up.
I recently added multi-aspect ratio support to the game. Next up with be a new gauntlet section to show off one of the later environments in the game. So expect that in the next few days as well as bug fixes. After that I intend to fill the island out with more quests and hidden stuff before finally polishing it off with the area boss fight.
The game is divided into 5 areas each ending with a main boss fight. The first area is the smallest and having finished the game logic I can finally work on content full time. Each area is fairly open with certain things required to be completed before accessing certain area however after the second area the game is going to open up and it will allow you to go pretty much anymore in the world. So far I have the basic map for the second area finished so I am looking forward to finishing the first map.
Currently I am shooting for an October completion date and releasing shortly there-after on itch.io/steam/play store/app store.
So yep that's about it for now.
Cheers,
Tuireann
